Organizing in Our Retro Playroom: Little Dolls

Our retro playroom is a haven for Miss Cozy (and soon for Baby too), and proves the most wonderful space for play dates and lazy afternoons...
After a number of years of primarily housing larger toys, we started welcoming these little ladies with their teeny, weeny accessories ~ familiar anyone?
Beloved hours of play for Miss Cozy, who loves figurines and small dolls of any kind, but so easy to lose pieces to play sets and end up with piles of tiny, mismatched bits with no real home.
Well now, that won't do.
Out came the trusty label maker & wonderful Sterilite plastic boxes from Target!
I pulled out a pad & paper, made an inventory of every kind of small doll play set, bought enough drawers for each (and some extras for inevitable add ons!) and lined them up on our playroom shelves.

If you are like me, and visual continuity & symmetry is key, I would recommend buying enough drawers for both your current inventory & future gifts and purchases -- nothing is worse than going back to Target one year later for that fourth drawer set and finding it ONLY in neon pink, and one inch shorter than your existing drawers. *Shiver*

Easy for Miss Cozy to find exactly what she wants to play with, easy to clean up & less pieces go missing!!
