Oh the beautiful things to see at Fortnum & Mason's Confectionary Counter! We enjoyed a good shop and a break for afternoon tea while in London.

Oh the pastel heaven ... homemade marshmallows cut in generous blocks, fruitcake and turkish delight...

Gorgeous, vibrant glace fruit -- how beautiful as part of a Christmas table centerpiece.
And the beautiful marzipan (my always favorite) -- look at those mini fruits, but I think I like the mini carrots the best.
And in the main hall, the beautiful tea displays -- I chose a light afternoon tea from this display, which I had enjoyed upstairs in their tea room!
Gorgeous, carved banisters along the staircases...upstairs to tea!
